As we grow, we invite you to grow with us.
• We are growing Chickens to produce farm fresh eggs. Our chickens, Rhode
Island Reds (Layers) are under what the industry call Semi-caged environment.
They are able to go outside and feel the fresh warm sun, but still be enclosed
with chicken wire against dogs and raccoons and other threats.
As we go along, we will inform you and give you tips about the poultry industry on
Eleuthera.
• We are growing seasonal items and right now, we have cantaloupe and
watermelons coming up!
• We are growing our business!
We have acquired a Greenhouse and are in the first stages of clearing land to erect
it. This will be done to meet our goal of growing such crops as Tomatoes during the
upcoming Summer months.

Eleuthera farmers are no different in their bid to help with Food Security.

Growing our famous Eleuthera Pineapples, along with lots of other goodies such as Sweet potatoes, Kale, Dillies, Watermelons, Tomatoes and Arugula can be found.
Farmers have to tend with issues as too little water, too much rain, too heavy winds, bugs and pests. And now, more recently an invasive species, not indigenous to our islands – Raccoons.
At Eleuthera Farms we have taken a few steps and offer those along with others that local
farmers have suggested in the fight against these cunning creatures.
A. Fly bait in Coke soda
B. Hard 2 door traps
C. Dogs
D. Snares
E. Hunting
F. Light Electric Shock Fence
